One in ten Palestinian families includes a member with a disability, and 29% of Palestinian children with disabilities are not attending school. Taawon has been dedicated to providing essential rehabilitation services, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy, special education, mental health support, and assistive devices. 

95% of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon lack health coverage, making it difficult to afford essential medical care. Since 1996, Taawon has been the main supporter of kidney failure patients. Currently, 147 Palestinian refugees receive free life-saving dialysis at these units.
