In response to the outbreak of the corona virus and the need to protect the Palestinian camps in Lebanon from its spread, Taawon-Lebanon has taken the initiative to strengthen health preparedness to deal with the epidemic, on the one hand, and to support the poorest families threatened by hunger, on the other.
Taawon signed a contract with the Palestinian Red Crescent Society to purchase two Hepa filter machines that are used in hospital quarantine and operations rooms. The two filter machines will be installed at the Al-Hamshari Hospital in Sidon, which is run by the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, allowing it to be better prepared to deal with any corona virus cases.
