Taawon and UNICEF are working together to support distance learning in the home quarantine phase imposed as a result of the corona epidemic. To this end, packets of stationery, crayons, and educational toys were distributed to 3,200 children enrolled in 33 kindergartens operating in the Palestinian camps of Lebanon, as part of Taawon’s early childhood education program, with UNICEF support.
These education-oriented items serve the distance learning process that kindergartens launched at the beginning of the home quarantine period. They are complemented by a range of activities proposed by their teachers to complete specific learning concepts. At the same time, the program benefits the whole family by helping to reduce stress and by facilitating positive interaction through games and activities.
